Musical project composed of rock trio – drums, bass and electric guitar with additional elements of orchestra, choir and other classical instruments. Drumphonic represents only own original creations which are focused to be pleasing, energetic, exciting and interesting for both musicians and common listeners as well. Because of this, Drumphonic differs from other instrumental projects.
Hanz Sedlář and David Uher started to work on the project Drumphonic at the beginning of April 2014. After just half a year first album Walk on Mars was produced and recorded. Launch of the album took place at the Drum Festival, where still as a duo performed with star drummers like Gavin Harrison (UK) or Mike Terrana (USA). Duo also played as a support for legendary keyboardist Don Airey of Deep Purple (UK). In 2015 duo recorded DVD of a live performance “Live at Club Drive” and began to work on other songs. In 2016 Drumphonic was enriched by bass player Marek Marian Leždík that gave the band not only fierce and forceful “sound” but also new creative inspiration.
Why Drumphonic? The main idea is to bring instrumental music to wider audience and to show that the idea can be transferred not only by text but the music itself.
